Natural River Sand is a coarse sand used as a base when compaction is required, such as under pavers and retaining walls. Natural River Sand is also used as a propagation mix for orchids. Our Play Sand is screened for safe fun in sandpits and sandboxes. It’s is also certified as a softfall for use around equipment areas in children’s playgrounds or yards. We can provide a test certificate if required.
Paving Sand is the sand used underneath pavers to keep them level. Paving Sand is a free draining course sand that has a very small wash-away factor. Typically, 30mm of paving sand is applied above the road base before pavers are laid. We bag sands in 20kg small bags and also in 1000kg bulk bags.
ACI kiln dried sand is used to maintain synthetic grass in top condition. It is an infill dried sand for all types of synthetic grass, synthetic lawns and astroturf. Kiln dried sand is also used as foundry sand and as a fine aggregate in mortar and concrete

Virgin Roadbase is a compactable aggregate for stabilising surfaces, such as driveways and paving. It’s also used around drains and pipes, as a base before concrete is poured or for backfill around walls. Our range also includes recycled roadbase (see below). Recycled Roadbase DGB20 is a RMS (Roads and Maritime Services) 3051-certified roadbase, combining crushed brick and concrete to achieve high rates of compaction and form a stable base under roads. Also commonly used under pavers or on building sites to make sure trucks do not track clay or dirt onto roads. Please note this is a recycled product. Crusher dust is a compactable, economical product used for stabilising surfaces. A by-product of concrete recycling, it compacts to form a very strong surface.
